The record
The Tarot of Mystical Moments is an unusual 83 card deck which focuses largely on feminine archetypes. This is not to say that men have been entirely left out of the deck, but rather that the feminine perspective has been moved to the fore. This deck has an extra 5 cards, and all of them are feminine takes on traditionally male cards. There are 4 extra King cards all with feminine features, and a second Emperor card also embodied by feminine energy. The Seeker can choose to keep all the Kings and both Emperors or remove the ones not to their liking. This is a somewhat dreamy, and slightly surreal tarot that takes its primary inspiration from the Rider-Waite-Smith classic tarot, and successfully reworks the images into a wholly original deck. The artwork embraces bizarre contrasts that while strange are basically wholesome and obliquely inspirational. The Major Arcana consists of 23 cards which follow the Rider-Waites titles and ordering. However, there are two Emperor cards one featuring a female Emperor and the other being male. The female Emperor is quite authoritarian in her appearance and stance and still embodies the same domineering energy that the traditional imagery featur
