Giant Rider-Waite

The Rider-Waite-Smith deck is the reference text of modern tarot, and this edition simply prints it at reference scale: the same seventy-eight Pamela Colman Smith images at 3.75 by 6.5 inches. That size makes it honestly poor for shuffling and table work, and exactly right for what it is actually for. At poster legibility, Smith's staging reads like it did on her drawing board: the small background figures, the water behaving differently card to card, the details a thumb-size print flattens into texture. This is the copy for teaching a class, walking a study group through the majors card by card, or pinning one image up and living with it for a week. It also serves low-vision readers better than any standard print. Buy it as a study object and a second copy of the tradition's cornerstone, not as a working deck, and it earns its shelf space.
