Tillie Walden was the youngest creator ever to win comics' Eisner Award, and her Cosmic Slumber Tarot brings that graphic-novel fluency to a premise tarot should have claimed long ago: dreams as the model for how the impossible gets accepted without question. The deck's eighty cards run energetic and youthful, Walden's flowing linework turning the arcana into a continuous dreamscape where architecture melts and figures drift, sleep surrealism as a complete visual grammar.
