The record
I am a huge fan of the Oracle of Shadows and Light so when this deck came out I knew that I wanted it. It has been created by Jasmine Becket-Griffith and Lucy Cavendish, two phenomenally artistic people who, when they come together, seemingly create unbelievable magic. The deck features all manner of wonderful beings and their magical animal companions. The kinds of animals featured are wide and varied, from dragons, wolves, ferrets, kittens and beetles to raccoons, mermaids, pigeons and turtles. There is quite literally the length and breadth of the animal kingdom featured within this deck. The cards are largish, like the previous deck, so you may need to adapt your shuffling style, they are glossy, flexible and measure 13.6cm tall by 9.6cm wide. Each card is numbered, named with keywords at the bottom. The book is 176 pages long with greyscale images of the cards, the deck itself has 45 cards. There are three sections for each card explanation: About, Speaks and Divination Meaning. I do believe there are some slight differences between the Australian release and American release of this deck.
