The record
The deck I have is the "regular" sized (poker sized) cards. They are a good size to fit the average hand, and large enough to see the elegant details in the beautiful illustrations. There is also a mini deck available. The Shabby Chicness Lenormand Oracle was the second deck I purchased when newly embarking on my study of the Petite Lenormand- and I was immediately drawn to the beauty of the images. They are lavish and painterly, though the art is based on photographs. The deck has a number of alternative cards to choose from, so that you can customize your deck, and change it periodically, when or if you feel the need to. The images are charming and evoke an idealized country lifestyle, rustic without being primitive, and suggestive of Victorian times without losing a certain 'hipness'. A romantic mood dominates, which would be especially attractive to many female readers especially. Some folks might find this deck a bit too 'twee' for their tastes, but I personally love them, and I love the way I can adapt it to my changing moods, with of the extra cards. They also have an additional option, a caption at the bottom of the card that describes seasonal affiliations and timeframes.
