Ma Deva Padma, creator of the Osho Zen Tarot and the Tao Oracle, calls The Sacred She Tarot the most personal of her creations and has subtitled it A Universal Guide to the Heart of Being. As we transition into a new age, leaving behind a world weighed down by an imbalance of Yang energy (toxic patriarchy) we seek new ways of being, and look for new paths of learning and guidance. The Sacred She Tarot is created to be part of the rebalancing, the movement towards "self-respect, joy, and inner peace", and is not aimed specifically at any gender. By knowing ourselves truthfully and intimately and honouring our souls as they really are we loosen the stranglehold thousands of years of social conditioning have had on us and allow us to actualise our full potential. The Sacred She Tarot is modelled on the traditional tarot in that it has 78 cards, and a Major and Minor Arcana, but there are also significant departures from the structure of classic tarot decks. To begin with the deck is divided into five suits, each aligned with an element which is designated by a colour.
