At some point way back in time, more than 20,000 years ago, wolves decided that there were benefits to be had from becoming close to humans and thus began the slow and curious evolution of intelligent and cunning predators into humans best friend – the dog. There are probably more than a dozen cats tarot decks currently in publication, not surprising really given the mysterious and aloof nature of cats and their association with magic and witches. Dogs however are less cool, they are sharply intelligent, able to learn and adapt, and never hide their nature or personality – and they are less obviously associated with magical beings and doings.
