Lynn Atkinson's Chocolate Tarot is a novelty deck with an actual thesis: chocolate's history is a world history, and the full seventy-eight cards trace it from Aztec discovery, where cacao was currency and offering, through its conquest-borne migration into Europe's courts and eventually everyone's kitchen.
