Chakras have their origins in this spiritual philosophies and practices of Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. They are best described as points of energy that form in the non-corporeal body. We tend to focus on the seven most important chakras, however, there are more than 88,000 chakras in the human body. They are most commonly recognised as moving wheels of light that run vertically up through the human body starting at the base of the spine (root chakra) and progressing through the sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown chakras. Chakras are a complex concept, with each one having a lengthy set of correspondences starting with a Sanskrit name, colour, mantra, deity, energy, number of petals (like a flower), physiological function, consciousness, sense, sound, symbols, and letters. The Chakra Reading Cards are intended to be an interactive tool for assisting the user to align their chakras; and help them to gain healing, insight, awareness, and empowerment.
