This is the card of being out in the cold - material lack compounded by a felt sense of exclusion or abandonment. Yet the lit window beside them signals that shelter and help are nearer than the sufferers perceive. It asks you to consider what hardship you are weathering, and whether support exists that pride or pain keeps you from entering.
